Valerie Royer, Massage TherapistI am a registered massage therapist at the Sports & Family Chiropractic Clinic (in St-Constant) and a m member of the Ordre My Network.
I graduated from the Scientific Academy of Massage Therapy in 2005. Before working at the clinic, my parents had been patients of Dr. Skolar and spoke very highly of his professional services. I decided to consult Dr. Skolar for a problem I was having with my knee.
Upon my arrival at the clinic, I was treated with respect and professionalism. After a few treatments, my knee problem was completely resolved and I knew that I wanted to be a part of Dr. Skolar’s team.
I have been working at the clinic for 3 years now and absolutely love what I do.
I offer many different types of massage therapy services such as:
- Relaxation massage
- Swedish Massage
- Chair Massage
- Massage for Pregnant Patients
- Hot Stones
- Massage with Essential Oils
- Massage with Himalayan salt balls
- Massage Therapy On-Site at Sports Events & Competitions
Massage therapy has been scientifically proven to relax tight and tense muscles as well as the surrounding soft tissues, thereby inducing a deep sensation of muscle relaxation and therapeutic benefit from stress and tension that accumulates in the body with the stress of everyday life.
Patients instantly experience the benefits of combining both massage therapy and chiropractic care.
In addition to using these soft tissue therapeutic approaches, I also use essential oils that have been shown to relieve and correct many health related problems that can cause pain and dysfunction in our body.
All treatments at the clinic are specifically designed for each patient.
We offer all our patients receipts for insurance purposes.
We also give our patients the opportunity to purchase gift certificates.
Dr. Skolar and I work together at sports competitions and athletic events providing on-site treatment for the athletes and participants. We also administer emergency first-aid to all participants on-site at these athletic events as Dr. Skolar is certified in advanced first-aid, CPR, AED, and sports specific first-aid techniques.
